Mission College missioncollege.edu
Mission College’s website is an educational style that I can take cues from when designing a bright, positive palette. There’s lots of white space, and the rounded corners contribute to an approachable look.
Their mobile version is clean and easy to navigate, matches the desktop version. Both are a little busy with the different fonts and animations, it’s most noticeable on the mobile version.

The Black Child Legacy Campaign blackchildlegacy.org
This organization operates in Sacramento County and is well funded by public and private sectors. The bold use of color and subtle animations are just the right touch. The font feels down to earth and the website looks great on mobile.
The quotes feel authentic and are scattered around the website, the focus is on the neighborhoods and getting involved, and the balance of effective headings, subheads and copy is effective. Top of fold is consistent and there’s a good balance of consistency and variety.

MENTOR
https://mentoring.org/
This website has lots of info but doesn’t overwhelm, but there are a lot of links hidden in the top menu. Answers crucial questions, such as Who We Are, What We Do, Take Action and a Resource Library (which I would replace with FAQ’s).
This would be a nice approach to understanding an unusual or niche service such as the Academy.
